知名游戏制作人桥野桂在访谈中透露,Persona系列以及新作《Metaphor: ReFantazio》中备受赞誉的精美菜单,其制作过程远比表面看起来要复杂得多,甚至可以说是“令人苦恼”。

桥野桂在接受The Verge采访时表示,大多数游戏开发者会采用简洁的UI设计方法,而Persona系列则坚持为每个菜单都打造独特的视觉风格,力求兼顾功能性和美观性。但这项工作远比想象中要费力,“非常令人苦恼”。

Persona 5标志性的棱角分明菜单在早期版本中曾难以辨认,团队为此进行了多次调整,才最终达到功能与美观的平衡。

然而,Persona系列的菜单设计也为游戏增色不少,成为其标志性特色之一,与引人入胜的故事和复杂的角色设定相得益彰。但这种视觉效果的背后是巨大的开发成本和时间投入。“这需要花费大量时间,”桥野桂承认道。

他进一步解释说,每个菜单,无论是商店菜单还是主菜单,都由独立的程序和设计来实现。

这种在UI设计中平衡功能性和美观性的挑战,自《Persona 3》以来就一直是Persona系列开发的核心部分,并在《Persona 5》中达到新的高度。《Metaphor: ReFantazio》则将这种设计理念进一步放大,其奇幻风格的画面与精致的菜单完美融合。

对桥野桂来说,菜单设计或许“令人苦恼”,但对玩家而言,其结果无疑是令人惊艳的。

《Metaphor: ReFantazio》将于10月11日登陆PC、PS4、PS5和Xbox Series X|S平台,现已开启预购。
