Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Release Date Announced with Pre-Order Bonuses

by Jack May 05,2025

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is set to launch on July 24, 2025, across multiple platforms including PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Excitingly, Microsoft has announced that it will be available on Game Pass from day one for subscribers of the Ultimate tier, making it accessible to a wider audience right from the get-go.

For those eager to dive into the game, pre-ordering Wuchang: Fallen Feathers comes with the exclusive Night & White Pack. This pack includes two distinct costume sets — Night Spectre and White Spectre — along with the Vermillion War Club axe and the Glistening Red Mercury Skill Upgrade, enhancing your gameplay right from the start.

Developer Leenzee Games has also revealed that the game will be available in both a standard and a deluxe edition. The deluxe edition, a must-have for avid collectors, offers four additional costumes — each comprising five unique costume pieces — four weapons, and the Blood of Changhong Skill Upgrade item, in addition to the base game.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is an immersive Soulslike action-RPG set in the historical backdrop of the late Ming Dynasty in the land of Shu. As a player, you take on the role of a mysterious warrior struggling with a deadly feather disease, navigating through a decaying empire to uncover its hidden secrets and confront supernatural foes.

Our team had the opportunity to experience Wuchang: Fallen Feathers earlier this year in our first hands-on preview. Our impressions were highly positive: "I only caught a small glimpse at Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, but I already feel pretty good about its chances at being more than just another soulslike to add to the ridiculously overflowing pile. The movesets are intricate and interesting, the RPG mechanics seem deep and offer a lot of freedom (even if I can’t claim to understand some of them fully), and the boss fights gave me a serious run for my money that’s rare these days. All that’s already got me pretty excited to play more."
