Monster Hunter Wilds Surpassed 8 Million Units in 3 Days
Monster Hunter Wilds Is Now Capcom’s Fastest Selling Game

Monster Hunter Wilds (MH Wilds) has set a new record for Capcom, selling over 8 million units in just three days since its launch. This achievement was proudly announced on Capcom’s official website, marking MH Wilds as the fastest-selling title in the company’s history.
The game’s success was evident from the start, with SteamDB reporting over 1.3 million concurrent players on Steam, despite receiving mixed reviews. Capcom credits this success to their strategic promotion efforts, which included showcasing the game at global video game events and conducting an open beta test to give players a taste of what MH Wilds has to offer.
Latest Update Addressed Game-Breaking Bug
In response to player feedback, MH Wilds has released a hot fix patch, Ver.1.000.04.00, on March 4, 2025, across all platforms. This update tackles several bugs that were hindering gameplay, such as the "Grill a Meal" and "Ingredient Center" features not unlocking as expected, issues with accessing the Monster Field Guide, and a critical bug that blocked story progression in Chapter 5-2, "A World Turned Upside Down." Players are required to update the game to continue enjoying online play.
However, some issues remain unaddressed, including a network error when players use an SOS flare after starting a quest, and Palico’s blunt weapon attacks failing to inflict stun and exhaust damage. These multiplayer-related bugs are expected to be resolved in an upcoming patch.
