GTA V PC Release Set for March 4

by Logan May 05,2025

After over two years of anticipation, PC players of Grand Theft Auto V are set to receive a major update on March 4, bringing the game in line with its console counterparts. This update introduces features that were initially exclusive to the PS5 and Xbox Series versions, released back in 2022. The best part? All current players will enjoy this upgrade at no extra cost, with seamless transfer of progress in both GTA Online and the Story mode.

The most significant enhancements are directed towards GTA Online, where a substantial amount of content previously unavailable to PC players will now be accessible. Furthermore, the GTA+ subscription, which offers perks like accelerated profit collection from in-game businesses, is making its debut on the PC platform. Rockstar Games has also bolstered the game's anti-cheat measures to ensure a fairer playing field.

Alongside these additions, the update will enhance the game's graphics significantly. However, this comes with a caveat: increased system requirements. Players whose hardware can't meet these new demands can opt to continue playing the older version, which will still receive support from the developers. It's important to note that there won't be cross-version support, meaning players on different versions won't be able to play together. This is a crucial point to consider as you plan your gaming experience.
