Het evenement, dat loopt van 17 tot 22 december om 09.59 uur lokale tijd, biedt een gratis onderzoekspad met drie secties. Na de eerste taken kies je je pad.
Het kernverschil ligt in de Pokémon-typen en beloningsontmoetingen. De keuze heeft geen drastische impact, maar beïnvloedt wel je focus.
