Square Enix Launches Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince On Android Globally

Square Enix's Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince brings the beloved series to mobile devices! Following its December 2023 Nintendo Switch release, this seventh installment lets you experience the story from a unique perspective.

Who is the Dark Prince?

You play as Psaro, a young man cursed by his father, the Master of Monsterkind, preventing him from harming monsters. To lift the curse, Psaro embarks on a journey to become a Monster Wrangler, teaming up with creatures to rise in power and potentially challenge his father. Fans of Dragon Quest IV will recognize Psaro as the antagonist, but this game reveals his side of the story.

The game unfolds in Nadiria, a world with dynamic weather and changing seasons impacting gameplay. Recruit and train over 500 unique monsters, combining them to create even stronger allies. Weather influences monster appearances, ensuring constant discovery. The monster roster is incredibly diverse, ranging from adorable creatures to bizarre behemoths.
