Mortal Kombat 1 Debuts T-1000 Gameplay Trailer

Mortal Kombat 1 is buzzing with speculation, especially the rumor that this current DLC wave could be the final one—implying no new fighters will follow T-1000. But it's too soon to focus on that, as a brand-new gameplay trailer for the Liquid Terminator in Mortal Kombat 1 has just landed.

Unlike aerial powerhouses such as Homelander, T-1000 doesn't rely on dazzling acrobatics or flight. His defining trait is morphing into liquid metal, allowing him to evade strikes and chain together extended combos.

True to form, T-1000's Fatality nods to Terminator 2: Judgment Day, featuring a massive truck reminiscent of the film's legendary chase. The full fatality wasn't revealed—partly to keep the trailer accessible and partly to preserve the surprise.

T-1000 arrives in the game on March 18, alongside the new Kameo fighter, Madam Bo. As for what's next for Mortal Kombat 1, neither Ed Boon nor NetherRealm has offered any hints so far.
