Roselia Spotlight Hour Guide
The upcoming Spotlight Hour is scheduled for January 14th, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Players should stock up on berries, Pokéballs, and incense to maximize their experience during this event. This week's featured Pokémon is Roselia, and participants will benefit from a x2 Catch XP bonus, making it an excellent opportunity to level up quickly.
Roselia, a Grass and Poison-type Pokémon from Generation 3 of the Hoenn region, boasts a maximum Combat Power of 2114 CP, with 186 Attack and 131 Defense. As part of a three-stage evolution line, Roselia evolves from Budew with 25 Candies and into Roserade with 100 Candies and a Sinnoh Stone.
Catching Roselia rewards players with three candies and 100 Stardust. This Pokémon can be traded within Pokémon GO and transferred to Pokémon Home. Being weak to Fire, Flying, Ice, and Psychic-type attacks, Roselia takes 160% more damage from these types. Conversely, it receives reduced damage from Electric, Fairy, Fighting, and Water-type attacks (63% reduced damage), with Grass-type attacks causing the least damage at 39%. The optimal moveset for Roselia is Poison Jab and Sludge Bomb, delivering 10.96 DPS and 99.91 TDO, with performance boosted in Cloudy Weather.
A Shiny version of Roselia is available during the event. To increase the chances of encountering a Shiny Roselia, players should use incense and berries. The Shiny Roselia features a brighter green body with purple and black roses.
