Galar Pokémon Debut in Steeled Resolve Event

by Christian May 02,2025

Niantic has just announced an exciting new event for Pokémon Go enthusiasts: Steeled Resolve, set to take place from January 21st to 26th. During this period, players will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of encounters and challenges. Notably, Pokémon from the Galar region, including Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight, will make their much-anticipated debuts, giving trainers the chance to catch these new additions to the game.

Steeled Resolve also marks the start of a new chapter in the Dual Destiny Special Research. By completing various tasks, you can earn valuable rewards such as Fast and Charged TMs, a Lucky Egg, and more. This Special Research is available for free until March 4th, providing ample time for trainers to participate and reap the benefits.

Throughout the event, the use of Magnetic Lure Modules will attract a range of Pokémon, including Onix, Beldum, and the newly introduced Rookidee. Additionally, trainers can strategically enhance their battle capabilities by using a Charged TM to help Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration. Don't forget to take advantage of the free *Pokémon Go codes* for some extra goodies!

Wild encounters during the event will feature Pokémon like Clefairy, Machop, and Paldean Wooper. The event also includes a mix of one-star and five-star raids, offering the chance to encounter Pokémon such as Lickitung, Skorupi, and even various forms of Deoxys. Mega Raids will be led by formidable Pokémon like Mega Gallade and Mega Medicham, adding to the excitement.

Egg enthusiasts won’t be left out, as Steeled Resolve will see Shieldon and Rookidee hatching from eggs. Event-themed Field Research tasks will offer rewards in the form of items and Pokémon encounters. For those willing to invest, a $5 Timed Research will provide additional perks, including 2x Hatch Stardust and encounters with Galarian Weezing and Clodsire.

To cap off the event, the Go Battle Week: Dual Destiny will be live, featuring bonuses like 4x Stardust from win rewards and an increased number of sets per day. Active leagues such as the Great League and Ultra League will provide a diverse range of battle options for competitive players.
