Tin Man Games has recently added Eye of the Dragon to the Fighting Fantasy Classics collection, now available across all major digital platforms including Android, iOS, and Steam for both PC and Mac. If you're a fan of old-school dungeon crawls, this title offers a nostalgic trip back to the classics.
This Is Its Official Digital Debut!
For the first time since 2010, Eye of the Dragon makes its digital debut. Originally penned by Ian Livingstone, the co-creator of the series, it was first released in 2005 during the Wizard Books reboot. This title actually traces its origins back to a mini-adventure featured in Dicing with Dragons. With this digital release, Eye of the Dragon officially becomes the 19th title in the Fighting Fantasy Classics library.
In Eye of the Dragon, players embark on an adventure beneath the monster-filled maze of Darkwood Forest, with the ultimate goal of uncovering the Golden Dragon, the most coveted treasure in Allansia. The journey begins in a tavern in Fang, where you're approached by a mysterious stranger who tempts you with an opportunity that could be your last, as it involves drinking a potentially lethal potion.
As you navigate the perilous dungeon, you'll encounter deadly traps, magical artifacts, scattered jewels, and creatures eager to take a bite out of you. Along the way, you might even come across an imprisoned dwarf who could turn out to be more than just another non-playable character.
Eye of the Dragon in Fighting Fantasy Classics Isn’t Just a Static Copy of the Book
Tin Man Games enhances the digital experience of Eye of the Dragon with several player-friendly features. You can adjust the difficulty to suit your playstyle and use the Free Read option to explore the world without engaging in combat. An auto-mapping feature ensures you won't lose your way in the complex labyrinth. Additionally, unlimited bookmarks and an adventure sheet that tracks your stats and gear make managing your journey seamless.
Eye of the Dragon joins other revered titles in the Fighting Fantasy Classics series such as The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Deathtrap Dungeon, Assassins of Allansia, The Port of Peril, along with Bloodbones, Forest of Doom, House of Hell, and Trial of Champions. Tin Man Games has plans to release even more titles in the future.
