Dead Cells Mobile's final free content updates delayed until February 18th, 2025

The eagerly awaited final two free updates for Dead Cells on mobile, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," have been pushed back to February 18th, 2025. Developer Playdigious announced the delay but also confirmed the new release date.

These updates, already available on PC and console versions, introduce a wealth of new content. "Clean Cut" features two new weapons: the Sewing Scissors (survival-focused) and the Giant Comb (brutality-focused). A new NPC, the Tailor's Daughter, allows players to customize their character's appearance.

"The End is Near" adds several challenging new enemies: the Sore Loser, Curser, and Doom Bringer. New skills and colorless mutations, like the powerful Demonic Strength (30% damage boost when cursed, increasing with curse stacks), further enhance gameplay.

Playdigious' commitment to providing extensive free post-launch content for Dead Cells is commendable. While the end of these free updates allows the studio to pursue new projects, the substantial additions to the mobile version justify the wait.

Both updates will launch simultaneously on Android and iOS on February 18th, 2025. New players are encouraged to consult a weapon tier list to prepare for the challenging gameplay.
