eTide HDF provides a powerful tide app and widget, offering worldwide tide chart access. Featuring data for over 10,000 tidal stations across the US, UK, Canada, and more, it delivers forecasts spanning several months.
Key Features:
- Offline Capability: Access the last 50 downloaded tide charts even without an internet connection.
- Customizable Widgets: Resize widgets (1x1 to 5x5), displaying data as charts or tables. Automatic daily updates and offline station data access are included.
- Location-Based Tides: The app automatically displays "tides near me" based on your current location.
- Interactive Tide Graph: Zoom and pan the tide graph using intuitive gestures. Swipe to view detailed predictions (minute accuracy) for the next few days. A movable horizontal line helps determine optimal boat launch and retrieval times, saving depth settings per port.
- Flexible Time and Units: Choose between local, telephone, and GMT time, and select height units (feet, inches, meters, centimeters).
- Distance Measurement: Easily calculate distances between two points in miles, kilometers, and nautical miles.
- Customization Options: Adjust colors, transparency, and font size for both charts and tables in the app and widgets. Enjoy day and night themes.
- Sunrise/Sunset & Moonrise/Moonset Data: View this information in table and diagram formats, with an option to toggle visibility. Hover over map stations for tooltips displaying station-specific data.
