**How emmy Works: Download the App and Ride!**
The emmy app is your key to unlocking seamless scooter rentals. Use it to locate nearby mopeds, reserve your ride, and unlock the scooter. We handle the charging, ensuring your e-moped is always ready to go. Each scooter includes two helmets (different sizes) and a mobile phone holder for a convenient and safe ride.
Creating your emmy account is straightforward:
- Download the emmy app and register for €4.95 (includes 15 free minutes).
- Sign up and verify your EU driver's license. Once approved, you're ready to ride!
- Ride! Use the app to find and reserve a nearby electric moped.
- End your rental: Park your emmy moped in a designated public parking area within our service area.
**How to Start Your emmy Electric Moped:**
- Open the helmet box: Press the red button.
- Remove from kickstand: Push the handlebars forward.
- Turn the power on: Ensure the red switch on the right handlebar is flipped to "ON" and the side stand is fully retracted. For Yadea models, press the "P-button".
- Start the engine: Simultaneously pull the moped brake and press the "Down" switch on the left handlebar.
**Our Electric Moped Fleet:**
In Berlin, Hamburg, and Dresden, you'll find NIU scooters, known for their lightweight design, perfect for city riding. Yadea mopeds are available in Hamburg, Kiel, and Munich.
Please remember to park your moped responsibly in designated parking areas for mopeds and bicycles. Avoid bike lanes, bus lanes, and pedestrian walkways.
**Rental Costs:**
A one-time registration fee of €4.95 provides 15 free minutes (valid for 3 months). Mopeds can be booked and reserved for free (up to 15 minutes). Unlocking costs €1, and the ride itself is €0.33 per minute. You can pause your ride mid-journey at a reduced rate.
