Following a reported apology from Microsoft, Jyamma Games has revised its stance on the delayed Xbox release of its debut title, Enotria: The Last Song. However, a concrete release date remains elusive.
Microsoft's Apology Resolves Enotria Xbox Release Delays
Jyamma Games Expresses Gratitude to Phil Spencer and the Community
Microsoft has reportedly apologized to Jyamma Games for significant delays encountered during the Xbox certification process for Enotria: The Last Song. The apology follows reports of Microsoft's inaction for over two months, prompting Jyamma Games to announce an indefinite postponement of the Xbox release earlier this week.
Jyamma CEO, Jacky Greco, previously voiced frustration on the game's Discord server, stating that Microsoft's lack of response indicated a lack of concern for both the game and its players. The Xbox Series X/S version was reportedly ready, but the submission and subsequent release were stalled due to the prolonged silence.
However, following Microsoft's intervention and apology, Jyamma Games expressed its gratitude on Twitter (X), specifically thanking Phil Spencer and his team for their prompt response and assistance in resolving the situation. The studio also acknowledged the significant support shown by the player community.
Jyamma Games confirmed ongoing collaboration with Microsoft, expressing hope for a swift Xbox release.
Further details emerged on Enotria's Discord server, where Greco confirmed Microsoft's apology and commitment to resolving the issue.
Jyamma Games isn't alone in facing Xbox release challenges. Funcom recently reported optimization issues with the Xbox Series S port of Dune: Awakening.
While the PS5 and PC releases of Enotria: The Last Song remain scheduled for September 19th, the Xbox release date remains uncertain. For more information on Enotria: The Last Song, please refer to the link below.
