However, the Path of Exile 1 team was reassigned to address critical endgame issues in Path of Exile 2 before its December 2024 launch. While initially believing they could return to Path of Exile 1's 3.26 update in time for its February target, the severity of Path of Exile 2's problems—including crashes and balance issues—made this impossible.
