SEGA and Crunchyroll Announce Seven Knights Idle Adventure Anime Collaboration

by Eleanor Jun 26,2023

Netmarble's popular idle-RPG, Seven Knights Idle Adventure, is teaming up with the anime sensation, Shangri-La Frontier, for an exciting crossover event. This collaboration introduces three new playable characters from the anime, along with fresh rewards.

The anime follows Rakuro Hizutome (Sunraku in-game), a skilled player who conquers obscure, buggy virtual reality games before tackling the wildly popular Shangri-La Frontier. His expertise in overcoming flawed game mechanics gives him a significant advantage.

ytSubscribe to Pocket Gamer on This in-game event features Sunraki, Arthur Pencilgon, and Oikatzo as recruitable allies. Players can also participate in a Shangri-La Frontier Rate Up Summon Event and a Special Check-in Event, offering opportunities to acquire these new heroes and earn exclusive rewards.

This collaboration also includes new dungeon stages, including a unique dungeon exclusive to the event. While anime crossovers aren't always captivating, the unusual premise—featuring a protagonist with a bird head—sets this one apart. The addition of new characters is sure to excite both anime and game fans.
