Vampire Survivors has just released a thrilling free DLC titled Emerald Diorama, which introduces an exciting crossover with Square Enix's beloved fantasy RPG series, SaGa. This update is the largest the game has seen yet, bringing a fresh wave of JRPG vibes to the popular survival game.
Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors
The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces a captivating new stage designed like a mini world map, complete with world-hopping elements that enrich the gameplay experience. Players can explore this new environment with over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to those who sing cursed songs, adding depth and variety to the roster.
Additionally, the DLC boasts over 16 new weapons and a novel Glimmer system that allows players to randomly acquire new skills during their runs. The auditory experience is enhanced with nine new music tracks, further immersing players in the JRPG atmosphere.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players should navigate to Moongolow and engage with a new merchant to purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold. From there, the content can be unlocked incrementally, offering a progressive exploration of the new features. A notable addition is the introduction of character parties, enabling players to form and command their own mini squads.
The DLC also introduces two new Adventures, each featuring six chapters. "To End an Ice Age" enhances the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" expands on the new content brought by the Emerald Diorama.
Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update
Simultaneously, the base game has received a free update named The Coop, centered around a poultry theme. This update introduces Gazebo, a new chicken character, alongside a new weapon and a relic that accelerates gameplay.
Players can unlock a series of achievements and access Darkana. Collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens will fully unlock the potential of The Coop update. A helpful tip for players: refrain from killing any enemies for the first minute of playing The Coop to unlock the Gaze of Gaea, which can be evolved with Parm Aegis to unlock Gazebo.
Vampire Survivors, along with the free DLC Emerald Diorama and the free update The Coop, can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. The game now supports cross-platform saving, allowing you to continue your progress across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS.
