In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, worn-out shoes are a real problem. Wandering barefoot isn't ideal, so knowing how to acquire and repair footwear is crucial. This guide covers both.

While you begin with a pair of shoes, replacement options abound. Loot chests, fallen poachers, and other enemies often yield footwear. Alternatively, purchase shoes legitimately.
Tailors sometimes sell shoes (like the one in Troskowitz), but these usually offer inferior stats. For superior footwear, seek out a cobbler. One is located in Trosky, identifiable on the map by its three red circles symbol (see map below).

Cobblers, like Cobbler Matthew in Trosky, sell a variety of goods beyond shoes, including horse equipment, materials, blacksmith's kits, and cobbler's kits.
How to Repair Shoes

Shoe repair options are plentiful. Cobblers and blacksmiths offer repair services; select the repair option when interacting with them, choose your items, and pay the fee. Note that Craftsmanship skill perks provide repair discounts.
Alternatively, self-repair is possible, depending on your Craftsmanship level. Insufficient skill prevents self-repair. A Cobbler's Kit is required for self-repair. These kits are available from various vendors (including cobblers and blacksmiths) and can be found in chests or looted from NPCs. To use a kit, access your inventory, select the kit, and use the interact button ("E" on PC). A menu appears, listing repairable items. Faded items indicate insufficient skill. Select items and use the interact button again to repair.
This guide covers acquiring and repairing shoes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The Blacksmith's Kit functions similarly for other gear repair. However, utilizing vendors for repairs remains a viable option, ensuring your equipment remains in optimal condition.
