Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?
Developed by Sunborn, Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium is a free-to-play tactical RPG with gacha mechanics available on PC and mobile. A common question among players revolves around the pity system and whether progress carries over between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.
Limited Banner Pity Transfer:
Your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner will transfer to the next limited-time banner. This means if you're close to pity on one limited banner, you can switch to another and still benefit from your accumulated progress. This behavior was observed during the global launch with the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners and confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. The pity counter continues to accumulate across all active limited banners.
Important Distinction: Limited vs. Standard Banners:
However, this pity transfer only applies to limited-time banners. Progress on a standard banner will not carry over to limited banners, and vice-versa.
Soft and Hard Pity:
While the hard pity is 80 pulls, a soft pity mechanic begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances of obtaining one gradually increase with each subsequent pull until the guaranteed SSR at pull 80.
