Gear up with your web-shooters, because Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy is swinging back into theaters this fall for a limited weekend run, courtesy of Fathom Entertainment.
The event kicks off on September 26 with the original "Spider-Man," followed by a special screening of "Spider-Man 2.1" on September 27—a newly remastered 4K version of the extended cut, making its theatrical debut with additional scenes. The trilogy wraps up on September 28 with "Spider-Man 3."
"Spider-Man’s 2002 breakthrough revolutionized superhero cinema, and Tobey Maguire’s portrayal remains timeless," said Fathom Entertainment CEO Ray Nutt in a statement to Variety.
"We’re thrilled to premiere ‘Spider-Man 2.1’ in 4K—a treat for die-hard fans and an exciting introduction for newcomers."
Can’t make the first weekend? Encore showings run October 3-5, perfect for a second viewing or a full trilogy marathon.
