Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) is set to broaden its horizons with the launch of a dedicated social media account for its upcoming English version. The release date could be unveiled during their upcoming livestream. On May 15, P5X Official West announced their first major reveal on a livestream, scheduled for May 15 at 7:00 AM PT on Atlus’ official western YouTube channel.

The livestream promises to be a thrilling event, featuring special guests from the game's cast, including Kaede Hondo, who voices Motoha Arai, and Chika Anzai, the voice behind Yui. They'll be joined by key figures from the development team, such as P5X Chief Producer Yohsuke Uda, Development Director Yusuke Nitta from ATLUS, and Development Producer Jun Matsunaga and Live Ops Director Yuta Sakai from SEGA.

Originally launched in select regions in April 2024, fans are buzzing with speculation that the Western release might be announced during the upcoming stream. The developers hinted at English localization plans during the game’s first anniversary livestream, and the official account teased that while the release date for Japan will definitely be announced, the West's fate remains a tantalizing mystery. In addition to the English version, the livestream will shed more light on P5X’s Japanese (JP) release. Atlus has confirmed that the game will hit Japan in Summer 2025, and pre-registrations are now open on P5X’s JP website.

Sega Sammy Holdings, the Japanese global holding company, included Persona 5: The Phantom X in their Fiscal Year 2025 Results Presentation on May 12, stating it's slated for release "In or after FY2026/3" (April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026) with a target launch this summer.
