Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5: Leaked Bangboo Dress-Up Mode to Become Permanent
New leaks suggest Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.5 update will introduce a permanent Bangboo dress-up game mode, initially launched as a "Bangboo Beauty Contest" event. This mode will allow players to customize the outfits of Eous, the game's mascot.
Version 1.4 recently delivered significant content, including S-Rank characters Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa (the latter being free). Two new permanent combat-focused game modes were also added, offering rewards like Polychrome and Boopon. The upcoming dress-up mode represents a departure from the core action RPG gameplay, similar to past events like the "Bangboo vs Ethereal" tower defense event.
Reliable leaker, Flying Flame, revealed screenshots showcasing various clothing items for Eous. While the dress-up mode will become a permanent fixture, event-specific rewards will be time-limited. Rumors suggest this event may also offer the long-awaited Nicole Demara skin.
Beyond the dress-up event, speculation points towards a temporary platformer game mode. HoYoverse, the developer, has a history of incorporating non-combat permanent game modes in other titles, such as Honkai: Star Rail's cocktail mixing and Genshin Impact's Genius Invokation TCG.
Version 1.5 is confirmed to introduce S-Rank characters Astra Yao and Evelyn, a new area, and a new chapter to the main story. With the January 22nd release date approaching, further details are expected soon. The addition of a permanent dress-up mode adds another layer of engaging gameplay to Zenless Zone Zero.
