by Patrick May 29,2025

Microsoft has announced the lineup of Xbox Game Pass titles scheduled to arrive in the first half of April 2025, featuring an impressive array of first- and third-party games. Among the highlights are South of Midnight, Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition. The upcoming additions were detailed in a recent Xbox Wire post, promising a stellar lineup for gamers.

The month kicks off with major releases starting April 3, highlighted by Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition (available on Cloud, Console, and PC) for all tiers. Other April 3 arrivals include All You Need Is Help (Console), Still Wakes the Deep (Xbox Series X|S), and Wargroove 2 (Console). The excitement continues on April 8 with South of Midnight (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition (Console and PC) joining all Game Pass subscriptions.

South of Midnight, developed by Compulsion Games, is anticipated to be one of Xbox’s standout releases of the year. Players can explore the Deep South’s folklore and confront mysterious creatures while unraveling an ancient power to overcome challenges.

Following closely, Commandos: Origins (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) arrives on April 9 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. On April 10, Blue Prince (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) joins the same tiers. The first wave concludes on April 15 with the addition of Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PC) for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.

In addition to the game lineup, Xbox Game Pass perks are being refreshed for the first half of April 2025. Exclusive offerings include the Beyond the Void Bundle for The First Descendant, the Sweet Starter Pack for Candy Crush Solitaire mobile players, and the Seventh Serving Emote for Sea of Thieves enthusiasts.
