Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Unveils Third-Person Perspective

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Gameplay: A First-Person Perspective Only

Based on trailers and promotional materials, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is exclusively a first-person experience. The question of whether a third-person mode exists is answered definitively: no. Except for cutscenes, the game is entirely played from Henry's first-person perspective.

This design choice is intentional. The developers aimed for immersive RPG gameplay, and the first-person view enhances the player's connection to Henry's journey. While the modding community might eventually offer third-person mods, the base game remains strictly first-person.

While exploring the game world, you'll only see Henry during cutscenes and conversations with NPCs. The camera will shift between Henry and the person he's speaking with. Henry's appearance will also dynamically change based on dirt accumulation and equipped gear.

The developers are unlikely to add a third-person mode officially. Therefore, players should expect a first-person-only experience. For more gameplay tips and information, including optimal perk choices and romance options, check out The Escapist.
