Karl Urban Debuts as Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat 2

Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon has unveiled a stunning poster featuring Karl Urban, known for his roles in The Boys and Judge Dredd, stepping into the shoes of the Hollywood actor and fighter. The poster creatively mimics a promotional image for a fictional Johnny Cage movie, complete with dramatic visuals of two motorcycles leaping from flames.

Mortal Kombat 2 serves as a direct sequel to the 2021 reboot, which introduced audiences to Lewis Tan's Cole Young, Hiroyuki Sanada's Scorpion, and Joe Taslim's Sub-Zero. Joining Urban in the sequel are new additions to the cast, including Adeline Rudolph as Kitana, Tati Gabrielle as Jade, and Damon Herriman as Quan Chi.
