This guide details how to maximize your income through strategic building upgrades, smart hiring practices, effective Fellow assignments, and other crucial game mechanics. Understanding Village Earnings
Your village's earnings represent your gold per second. This directly impacts your ranking in the Village Earnings Rank Rush event and is crucial for progression.
To check your earnings:
- Go to the Home screen.
- Tap the “i” icon next to your earnings (top left corner).
- View your current earnings and historical maximum. (Note: The historical max only matters for the Village Earnings Rank Rush event and can't be manually adjusted.)
Building Upgrades and Hiring Staff
Buildings are the engine of your gold production. Unlocking and upgrading them as you progress is essential.
Boosting Earnings Through Buildings:
- Hire staff: Improves building efficiency.
- Upgrade buildings: Increases your hiring capacity.
- Assign Fellows: Optimizes production.
Each building has a limited number of staff slots, expandable as follows:
- Slot 2: Unlocks after hiring 50 employees.
- Slot 3: Unlocks after hiring 200 employees.
- Slot 4: Unlocks after hiring 800 employees.
- Slot 5: Unlocks after hiring 5,000 employees.
For efficient Fellow leveling, see the Fellow Power-Up Guide. The Farmstead is a priority early-game upgrade, providing a +10% bonus per level to all buildings.

Maximizing Family Gathering Bonuses
Each Family member has 36 gathering bonuses under their “Skill” section, unlocked through intimacy.
Key Intimacy Levels for Earnings Bonuses:
- 100, 250, 550, 1,000, 2,000, and 5,000.
Aim for at least level 550 intimacy with all Family members for a significant boost. Upgrading multiple members to 550 is generally more cost-effective than a few to 5,000.
Increasing your village earnings in Isekai: Slow Life requires strategic planning and consistent improvements. By hiring effectively, optimizing Fellow placement, upgrading key structures, and completing challenges, you'll steadily increase your income and leaderboard rankings.
