Indiana Jones and the Great Circle PS5 Port Coming in 2025 According to Reports

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, developed by MachineGames and published under Xbox’s Bethesda label, is reportedly set to launch on PlayStation 5 in the first half of 2025. This follows its initial release on Xbox Series X/S and PC, expected later this year during the holiday season.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: PS5 Release Expected in Early 2025

Recent industry reports suggest that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle may not remain an Xbox console exclusive for long. According to insider Nate the Hate, known for accurately detailing Microsoft’s multi-platform strategies in the past, the game will debut on Xbox and PC this December as a timed console exclusive. After the exclusivity period concludes, a PS5 release is planned for the first half of 2025.

"MachineGames' Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will release on Xbox & PC this holiday (Dec) as a timed console exclusive. After this timed-exclusive window expires, Indiana Jones & the Great Circle is planned to come to PlayStation 5 in the first half of 2025," Nate the Hate stated on Twitter (X).

This information has been further corroborated by Insider Gaming, which reported that select media outlets have received official details under non-disclosure agreements, reinforcing the likelihood of a 2025 PS5 launch.

Microsoft’s Shifting Approach to Platform Exclusivity

Microsoft has shown a growing trend toward broader platform availability for its first-party titles. While Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was secured as an exclusive following Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda, recent moves indicate a more flexible strategy. The company’s “Xbox Everywhere” initiative has already brought games like Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, and Grounded to competing platforms, including PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

The potential PS5 release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle aligns with earlier reports from The Verge, which revealed that Microsoft and Bethesda are actively considering multi-platform launches for major titles such as Starfield and Indiana Jones. There is reportedly no strict policy preventing future Xbox first-party games from appearing on PlayStation, signaling a strategic shift toward maximizing reach and revenue.
