by Skylar Jan 06,2025

League of Legends: Wild Rift receives a major update, introducing the formidable Ice Witch, Lissandra! Ranked Season 14 also kicks off, alongside convenient new features. Don't miss the Advent of Winter event, beginning on the 18th!

This mid-week update brings a flurry of exciting additions to the popular mobile MOBA. Lissandra, leader of the Frostguard, joins the roster, wielding the power of True Ice. While appearing benevolent, her true nature holds a more sinister edge.

Beyond Lissandra, the update includes Ranked Season 14 and a handy new QR code/access code system for easier lobby joining.

The icy arrival of Lissandra coincides with the Advent of Winter event (starting the 18th), offering frosty challenges and rewarding prizes. To celebrate, all champions will be free to play from July 19th to August 1st – the perfect opportunity to explore the roster!

This substantial update also features a new Wild Pass and champion adjustments. Dive in and experience the chilling thrills (but don't get frostbite!).
