In their recent Twitter (X) post, Supergiant Games announced that Hades 2 has been in early access for a year now, starting on May 6, 2024. The developer marked this milestone by expressing gratitude to fans for their unwavering support and noting their steady progress toward the game's full release.

The post stated, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"

The original Hades followed a similar path, launching in early access before its full release, which occurred after 22 months. However, Supergiant aims to bring Hades 2 to market sooner than its predecessor, with plans for an exclusive launch on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
