Genshin Impact's Version 5.4: A Closer Look at Yumemizuki Mizuki and a Leaner Update
Version 5.4 of Genshin Impact introduces Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo Catalyst character hailing from Inazuma. Mizuki's gameplay is reminiscent of Sucrose, but with added healing capabilities, making her a valuable asset, particularly in Taser team compositions. Her arrival follows extensive rumors and leaks, ultimately confirming her status as a Standard Banner character after Version 5.4.
Mizuki's character design, revealed through a slightly delayed drip marketing campaign, portrays her as a tapir yokai, psychologist, and the majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse. Her established friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests a prominent role within Version 5.4's Inazuma-based Flagship Event, centered around yokai. A dedicated Story Quest will also accompany her release.
Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:
- Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Vision: Anemo
- Weapon: Catalyst
- Constellation: Tapirus Somniator
Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Players focused on character collection should prioritize obtaining Mizuki's Signature Weapon, as she transitions to the Standard Banner post-Version 5.4.
Unlike the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 presents a more streamlined update. It features only one new character, a single Story Quest, and no new Artifact Domain or map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem reward pool will be smaller than usual. Players are advised to conserve their resources, particularly those obtained from the Lantern Rite, to maximize their chances of acquiring highly sought-after characters like Furina or Wriothesley in Version 5.4, unless Version 5.3's Chronicled Banner offers a compelling alternative.
