Independent game developer Kyrylo Burlaka has unveiled his latest project, Fracture Point, a thrilling fast-paced roguelike first-person shooter. This game features procedurally generated levels set in a realistic dystopian metropolis, caught in the midst of a fierce battle between a powerful corporation and the resistance. As players ascend the corporation's skyscraper, they'll scavenge for gear and loot, enhancing their character's abilities floor by floor. Engage in intense combat with mercenaries, confront security forces, and challenge formidable bosses in this adrenaline-pumping adventure.

Fracture Point evokes memories of Criterion's iconic PS2-era first-person shooter, Black. When I shared this observation with Burlaka, he acknowledged, "Criterion's games significantly influenced my gaming experience growing up," suggesting that the similarities are indeed intentional.

If you're eager to keep up with Fracture Point's development and be among the first to play, you can wishlist it on Steam.
