Torerowa, the roguelike dungeon crawler, has launched its fourth open beta test, featuring major gameplay upgrades and fresh content. This latest build introduces revamped exploration mechanics along with exciting new items, while offering players the choice between PvE and PvP combat experiences.
This roguelike multiplayer adventure blends elements of extraction shooters like Dark and Darker with classic isometric JRPG gameplay. Players battle monsters in real-time while navigating treacherous dungeons filled with valuable loot, all while trying to survive long enough to escape with their spoils.
The new beta version brings substantial improvements. Four new equipment slots have been added - Belt, Ring, Amulet, and Charm (with Charms being exclusive monster drops that provide unique buffs). The game also introduces Echo Traits, offering over 150 randomized bonuses that can appear on gear, with up to five traits per item.

Dungeon Exploration Reimagined
The fourth beta completely overhauls dungeon navigation. Maps now start concealed and must be revealed using Sonar items found throughout the dungeons. Additionally, map layouts receive greater randomization between runs, ensuring no two expeditions feel the same.
Players now have the flexibility to toggle between PvP and PvE modes. Beware of monster swarms that attack in groups, and watch your step for new deadly traps scattered throughout the dungeon corridors.
