Bandai Namco has started sending out emails to verify participation in the closed testing of *Elden Ring Nightreign*, set to take place from February 14 to 17, 2025. These fortunate players will be among the first to dive into the game, which is designed for a three-person cooperative mode, as detailed in the official correspondence.
Given the immense popularity of *Nightreign*, scammers have jumped at the opportunity to distribute fake testing invitations. Some players have reported receiving emails that mimic official notifications from Bandai Namco, falsely claiming to invite them to the testing phase. These deceptive emails often contain links leading to counterfeit websites designed to resemble Steam.

These scammers entice users to log into these fake platforms, resulting in the loss of access to their accounts. In some instances, players have received similar fraudulent messages from contacts they trust. Fortunately, some victims have managed to recover their accounts with the help of Steam support.
It's crucial to exercise caution with links and verify the legitimacy of sources. When in doubt, it's advisable to consult official channels and avoid clicking on questionable links.
In *Elden Ring: Nightreign*, players will no longer be able to leave messages within the game. Project director Junya Ishizaki explained this decision in an interview, stating that due to the approximately forty-minute duration of *Nightreign* gaming sessions, players won't have sufficient time to leave or check messages. As a result, the messaging feature has been disabled to streamline the gaming experience.
