EOS Integration Brings End to Revue Starlight Character Acquisition

Revue Starlight Re:LIVE's End of Service (EOS) Announcement: A Final Curtain Call

The news is official: Revue Starlight Re:LIVE, the mobile game based on the popular anime, will cease operations on September 30th, 2024, at 07:00 UTC. After nearly six years on Android, this chapter of the Revue Starlight story will conclude.

Reasons Behind the EOS Announcement

While not entirely unexpected, the announcement of Revue Starlight Re:LIVE's EOS is a result of several factors contributing to the game's underperformance over the past five and a half years. Players have observed a pattern of repetitive events, reused assets, and an excessive number of costly battle passes. Furthermore, narrative choices, such as the abrupt shift in storyline, haven't been well-received. The shutdown affects the game globally, including Japan.

Positive Aspects of the Game

Despite its shortcomings, Revue Starlight Re:LIVE boasted several positive elements. Its soundtrack, featuring numerous songs from the anime, was highly praised. The game also showcased impressive 3D graphics and Live2D animations.

A Final Chance to Play

Although the game's lifespan is nearing its end, players still have several weeks to enjoy Revue Starlight Re:LIVE before the EOS. Developers are implementing several farewell campaigns in August and September. A "Thank You For Everything" campaign offers ten free pulls daily, and a two-month birthday celebration event, including two "New Stage Girl Gacha" events, is planned. Download the game from the Google Play Store to experience these final events and bid farewell to the Stage Girls.
