Delta Force Devs Discuss the Creation of Its New Campaign, Black Hawk Down

by Lucas Mar 17,2025

Delta Force's new co-op campaign, "Black Hawk Down," drops players into the intense streets of Mogadishu. Inspired by the iconic film and a reimagining of 2003's Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, this Unreal Engine 5 rebuild offers an unparalleled level of immersion. Forget the limitations of the original; this campaign delivers a significantly more challenging and engaging experience.

While technically solo-playable, the developers strongly advise against it. The difficulty remains consistent regardless of player count; expect no reduction in enemy numbers or easier firefights. For the best experience, assemble a four-person squad, utilizing a diverse range of character classes and embracing teamwork to conquer the campaign's seven chapters.

For a deeper dive into the campaign's features, check out this article. To mark this exciting launch, we spoke with studio head Leo Yao and game director Shadow Guo. They shed light on the decision to reboot this classic campaign, their reasoning behind offering it free of charge, and much more.
