Dead Island 2: Prepare for a New Wave of Zombie Mayhem
The highly anticipated Patch 6 delivers a significant gameplay upgrade with the inclusion of New Game Plus (NG+). Replay the entire game with increased difficulty, retaining your inventory, character level, and three extra skill slots. Conquer a raised level cap, wield new weapons and skins, and face formidable new foes.
Introducing the Revenants: deadlier Apex zombie variants with enhanced abilities and behaviors designed to test even the most seasoned zombie slayer. The developers promise a significantly heightened challenge in NG+, particularly when combined with the Revenants' increased difficulty.
To balance the increased difficulty, all weapons in NG+ are more powerful than their main game counterparts. Expect a wider selection of fixed-rarity weapons to discover and master. The new Neighborhood Watch horde mode combines horde and tower defense elements. Players must defend their base for five in-game days, completing objectives and eliminating hordes of enemies to earn valuable gear.
