Danganronpa Exclusive: Summer Heat in Riichi City

Riichi City and Danganronpa have teamed up for a month-long, amnesia-inducing mahjong extravaganza! Starting July 1st, players find themselves with no memories, trapped in a mysterious room, and forced to use their mahjong skills and wits to escape.

This high-stakes event introduces "Mahjong Machine Gun," a rhythm-based minigame where players smash tiles against Monokuma. A story mode also unfolds, centering on an unfinished mahjong game requiring players to collect "Truth Bullets" to solve the mystery. Daily login rewards are available for seven consecutive days.

Familiar faces from the Danganronpa universe join the fray, including Makoto Naegi, Kyoko Kirigiri, Celestia Ludenberg, and Junko Enoshima, each adding their unique flair to the chaotic proceedings. Celestia, true to character, enjoys the pandemonium, while Junko seems particularly delighted by the general confusion.

The collaboration features a stylish summer twist: each character boasts two unique swimsuit costumes. Makoto’s "Summer in the South" and "Underwater World" outfits highlight his laid-back and adventurous sides, respectively. Kyoko’s "Summer in the South: Tranquil Shallows" reveals a playful nature. Celestia’s glamorous "Queen of the Sands" costume reinforces her commanding presence, while Junko's "Party Time" swimsuit perfectly complements her chaotic personality, her second outfit hinting at hidden depths.
