TRAGsoft is developing a roguelike spin-off to their popular monster-collecting RPG, Coromon. Announced for nearly all platforms, including Android, Coromon: Rogue Planet is slated for a 2025 release.
What's New?
The announcement trailer showcases exciting new features. Coromon: Rogue Planet retains the series' classic turn-based combat, but adds roguelite elements for increased replayability. Explore the ever-changing Veluan wilderness, boasting over ten unique biomes that shift with each playthrough.
A key feature is the "rescue and recruit" system. Aid stranded characters to unlock seven playable individuals, each with distinct playstyles. Over 130 monsters await capture, each with unique elemental affinities, personalities, and abilities.
The game also introduces meta-progression, allowing players to steadily increase their power through resource collection. Furthermore, a mysterious interstellar spaceship storyline unfolds, encouraging player interaction and collaboration.
