The update brings two new cookies:

• Dragon Lord Dark Cacao Cookie: An Ancient+ rarity (more on that later), this Charge-type frontline fighter unleashes devastating attacks with his Awakened King skill, including a CRIT Resist debuff. A special Nether-Gacha increases the odds of acquiring him.

• Peach Blossom Cookie: An Epic Support cookie, Peach Blossom provides healing and buffs to DMG and Debuff Resist.

Additionally, a new World Exploration episode, continuing Dark Cacao Cookie's story, features unique Yin and Yang battle stages.

The Bad and the Ugly: The Ancient+ Rarity Controversy

The introduction of the Ancient+ rarity, boasting a 6-star max promotion level, has caused considerable friction within the community. With ten existing rarities, the addition of an eleventh is seen as unnecessarily diluting the existing system and favoring "whale" players (those who spend heavily). Many players feel existing cookies should be buffed rather than introducing higher-rarity alternatives.
