by Skylar Jan 02,2025

Conflict of Nations: World War 3's Season 16 plunges players into a nuclear winter, transforming the game world into a frozen wasteland. This icy apocalypse introduces a new 100-player Domination mode, demanding strategic control of vital research points to secure victory. A new unit, the Mountain Infantry, is also deployed, boasting enhanced speed and durability in mountainous and tundra environments, though at a higher resource cost.

The Domination mode offers a battle royale-style experience, with 100 players vying for control of key global research facilities. Victory hinges on accumulating Victory Points by capturing and holding these strategic locations.

To conquer this frozen battlefield, players gain access to the Mountain Infantry, a specialized unit optimized for cold climates. This unit provides enhanced tactical options but requires a larger resource investment compared to standard motorized infantry. The Elite Frigate also returns, offering powerful naval support.

Season 16 also includes limited-time missions offering bonus resources for successful completion, and a new loadout system providing temporary combat boosts. Players can adapt their strategies to overcome the challenges of the nuclear winter.
