Here's the official description:
Civilization VII - VR brings the world of Civilization to life. The game unfolds on a Command Table, allowing players to zoom in for intricate details or zoom out for a strategic overview. Interact directly with world leaders, forging alliances or declaring war across the ages.
Play in immersive VR or mixed reality, switching seamlessly between the two. VR places you in an ornate museum overlooking a leader-specific vista; mixed reality adapts the Command Table to your physical space. The Archives, a museum room, showcases gameplay achievements in both VR and mixed reality. Engage in online multiplayer matches with up to three other Meta Quest 3/3S players.
The PC and console versions of Civilization VII (currently available via early access) have received mixed player feedback on Steam, citing UI issues, limited map variety, and missing features.
Firaxis has addressed this feedback, promising UI improvements, cooperative team play in multiplayer, expanded map types, and other enhancements.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, in an interview with IGN, acknowledged negative reviews but expressed confidence that the "legacy Civ audience" will appreciate the game with continued play, describing its early performance as "very encouraging."
