Originally priced at $69.99, you can now snag this impressive collection for $44.96 at Amazon. The set includes 18 feature-length animated films, spanning back to the late 1990s. Among the highlights is "Batman: The Killing Joke" from 2016, adapted from Alan Moore's seminal graphic novel. Our review gave it a 6.1, noting, "[t]here's probably a way to expand on the events of The Killing Joke and craft a story that doesn't elevate Batman and Joker at the expense of Batgirl. Sadly, this movie doesn't find the answer. As an adaptation, The Killing Joke succeeds only when it sticks closely to the source material. Its attempts to embellish the original story end in disaster."

What Movies Are Included?

  • Batman: Gotham Knight
  • Batman: Year One
  • Batman: Under the Red Hood
  • Batman: Bad Blood
  • Batman vs. Robin
  • Son of Batman
  • Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Parts 1 and 2
  • Batman: Assault on Arkham
  • Batman: The Killing Joke
  • Batman and Harley Quinn
  • Batman: Gotham by Gaslight
  • Batman: Ninja
  • Batman: Return of the Caped Crusader
  • Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
  • Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman
  • Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
  • Superman/Batman: Apocalypse

Notably, this collection omits "Batman: Hush" and "Batman: Death in the Family," the latter of which features an interactive element allowing viewers to influence the story's outcome, similar to the 1988 comic arc that determined Jason Todd's fate.
