Just one month after its release, including its availability on Game Pass, Obsidian and Xbox Game Studios have unveiled a new trailer celebrating Avowed. The video showcases selected reviews and quotes from gaming journalists, highlighting the positive reception of the action-RPG.

The latest update brings support for DLSS 4, featuring Multi Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and DLAA. These technologies dramatically improve performance, with NVIDIA demonstrating up to a threefold increase in frame rates at max 4K settings, reaching up to 340 FPS. Developers also teased upcoming announcements about the game’s future support and roadmap in the coming weeks.

This update isn’t just about technical improvements—it also enhances the player experience. Gamers will now earn an additional talent point every five levels, and those who’ve already progressed will receive their points automatically upon loading the game. Keyboard and mouse users can now toggle between walking and running, while a new accessibility option increases font sizes in documents, guides, and other in-game text.

Though Avowed didn’t leave critics entirely speechless, it still garnered strong reviews. Digital Foundry even praised the game as a technical “triumph,” solidifying its reputation as a standout title from Obsidian.
