Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5080 Gaming PC Now $2,399.99

Starting today, Dell is offering an incredible deal on the Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC, now equipped with the cutting-edge GeForce RTX 5080 GPU for just $2,399.99, including shipping. This price point is exceptionally competitive, especially considering the general upward trend in pricing for RTX 50 series prebuilt systems since their launch in January. At Dell, the next cheapest option with an RTX 5080 GPU is over $4,000. For those considering a DIY build, securing a standalone RTX 5080 GPU can be challenging and costly, often matching the price of this complete system.

$2,399.99 at Alienware

This Alienware Aurora R16 is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU, alongside the GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265F Meteor Lake CPU features a max turbo frequency of 5.3GHz, 20 cores, and a 30MB cache. It's kept cool with a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler, and the system is energized by a 1,000W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.

The RTX 5080 is part of Nvidia's new Blackwell lineup, which has been in high demand and hard to find. In our Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 FE review, Jackie notes, "If you already have a high-end graphics card from the last couple of years, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 might not justify the upgrade – its performance edge over the RTX 4080 is marginal, though DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation does enhance gameplay visuals in supported games. However, for gamers upgrading from older GPUs and looking for a substantial performance increase, the RTX 5080 is a solid choice, especially if you're keen on leveraging Nvidia's AI enhancements."

RTX 5080 and 5090 GPUs Are Sold Out Everywhere

The initial release of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs saw the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 sell out within an hour of preorders opening. The RTX 5070 Ti followed in February, facing similar stock issues. Prebuilt systems with these GPUs have also been quick to sell out, often resulting in price hikes or extended delivery times.
