Application Description

Experience Minnesota Whist, a unique no-trump partnership card game, now available on your smartphone or tablet! This free game lets you track your statistics and challenge intelligent AI opponents.

Minnesota Whist, a popular variation in Minnesota and South Dakota, distinguishes itself from other whist games by omitting trumps. The objective shifts depending on whether the bid is "high" or "low." High bids aim for seven or more tricks; low bids target six or fewer.

This easy-to-learn partnership game is ideal for honing your card skills and strategic thinking. Collaborate with your AI partner to outsmart your opponents in fast-paced, engaging gameplay. Minnesota Whist is an excellent stepping stone to mastering other trick-taking card games. Increase the difficulty to "hard" mode once you feel confident!

Victory requires skillful teamwork with your AI partner to be the first partnership reaching the win target (either 13 or 7 tricks). Monitor your overall and session statistics to chart your progress.

Personalize your Minnesota Whist experience:

  • Select your preferred win target.
  • Enable or disable the "set bonus."
  • Choose from easy, medium, or hard difficulty levels.
  • Opt for normal or fast gameplay.
  • Play in landscape or portrait mode.
  • Toggle single-click play.
  • Sort cards in ascending or descending order.
  • Replay hands from the play or bid phase.
  • Review previous hands played during a round.

Customize further with various color themes and card decks to maintain a fresh and exciting playing environment.

Quickfire Rules:

Following an even card distribution among four players, each player bids either high (black card) or low (red card). Bid cards are revealed sequentially, starting to the dealer's left. The first player to reveal a black card "grands," and the round becomes a "high" bid (teams strive for maximum tricks). No further cards are revealed after the first black card. If all bid cards are red, the round is "low" (teams aim for minimal tricks).

In a high bid, the player to the right of the "granding" player leads the first trick. In a low bid, the player to the dealer's left leads. Players take turns playing one card, following suit if possible. If unable to follow suit, any card may be played. The highest card of the led suit wins the trick, and the winner leads the next trick.

Points are awarded at the round's end based on each partnership's trick count. In a high bid, the "granding" team receives a point for each trick exceeding six. If they fail to achieve seven tricks, the opposing team earns one or two points per trick exceeding six, depending on the "set bonus" setting. In a low bid, a team earns one point per trick below seven.

Das Spiel ist in Ordnung, aber es könnte mehr Spielmodi geben.

    挺好玩的纸牌游戏,就是AI对手有点弱。

Juego de cartas entretenido, aunque la IA podría ser más desafiante.
