Whiskey-Four

Can you rescue the galaxy from its own demise, or will it destroy you first?

The corporations are hunting you. The police are on your trail. Even your ex has clawed their way out of the grave to try and reclaim you. All the while, the fate of the galaxy balances on a knife's edge, and only you can shut the gates of hell.

"Whiskey-Four" is a standalone 396,000-word interactive novel by John Louis. It's a completely text-based experience, without graphics or sound effects, driven solely by the limitless power of your imagination.

You are a retired contract killer from the Anomalous Interference Unit. Injured in the line of duty, you were forced into an early retirement—only to be reactivated on a distant frontier world to confront a horrific, unfathomable threat.

A profound sense of dread permeates the void. Something immense is stirring, something that threatens the entire galaxy.

You are the only one in a position to stop it before it's too late.

It's just too bad everyone else wants you dead.
