Dive into StopotS, the ultimate categories word game!

StopotS is the popular categories game, often called Scattergories or "City, Country, River," and simply known as STOP.

First, players select categories that form the foundation of the game—like Names, Animals, Objects, and more. Once chosen, a random letter is generated for all players, and a new round starts. Everyone must quickly fill each category with a word beginning with that letter. The first to complete all categories hits the "STOP!" button, immediately locking in other players' answers. Through voting, participants review and validate each answer. Valid entries score 10 points, repeated answers earn 5, and incorrect ones receive none. This cycle repeats until the final round.
