A free application for creating and editing Scalable Vector Graphics.
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a W3C standard for vector-based images. Unlike bitmap images composed of fixed pixels, vector graphics are defined by a set of shapes and their properties. The key advantage of SVG is its scalability—enlarging the image does not result in any loss of detail.
This application (PainterSVG) is an editor designed for creating and modifying SVG images. It offers the following features:
- Create and edit shapes, including lines, circles, rectangles, and more
- Create and edit paths with support for straight, cubic, and quadratic lines; easily adjust stop points and control points
- Intuitive controls for defining stroke and fill properties for all shapes and paths
- Apply solid color fills, linear gradients, or radial gradients to any shape
- Select or deselect all elements, and effortlessly drag to move, resize, or rotate them
- Smooth zoom in and out functionality
- Convenient grouping and ungrouping of elements
- Read from and write to external SVG files
- Export to PNG (with transparent background) or JPG (with white background)
