Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.5 Update Introduces S-Rank Agent Reruns

Zenless Zone Zero is finally introducing rerun banners for previously released S-Rank agents in its Version 1.5 update, a significant departure from its previous focus on solely new characters. This follows the model of HoYoverse's other popular gacha titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. The highly anticipated reruns feature Ellen Joe and Qingyi.

The decision to include rerun banners addresses player requests and aligns Zenless Zone Zero with the industry standard for gacha games, offering players another chance to obtain limited-time characters. The initial absence of reruns had been a point of discussion among the fanbase.

Version 1.5 will be divided into two phases:

Phase 1 (January 22 - February 12):

• Astra Yao (new agent)
• Ellen Joe (rerun banner) This phase also includes the addition of Ellen's Agent Story.

Phase 2 (February 12 - March 11):

• Evelyn Chevalier (new agent)
• Qingyi (rerun banner)

Both rerun banners will also feature the respective characters' signature W-Engines.

Beyond the agent reruns, Version 1.5 introduces three new outfits: "Chandelier" for Astra, "On Campus" for Ellen, and "Cunning Cutie" for Nicole. Notably, Nicole's "Cunning Cutie" outfit will be a free reward from the Day of Brilliant Wishes event. This confirms recent leaks regarding new character costumes. The update promises a substantial amount of new content for players, both veteran and new.
