Xbox Insider Direct: Surprising Title Unveiled

Xbox's Developer_Direct returns January 23rd, 2025, showcasing highly anticipated titles, including a mystery game. This in-depth look at upcoming games will be presented by the developers themselves.

Four Games to be Showcased:

The Developer_Direct will feature four games, three of which have been announced:

• South of Midnight (Compulsion Games): An action-adventure game set in a mystical American South. Players take on the role of Hazel, embarking on a quest to rescue her mother and mend a fractured world after a hurricane unleashes mythical creatures. Hazel must master the art of "Weaving," a form of magic, to overcome these threats. Releasing in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S and Steam.

• Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Sandfall Interactive): A turn-based RPG with real-time combat mechanics. Players join Gustave and Lune as they attempt to thwart the Paintress, a being who erases people by painting numbers on a monolith. Launching in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

• DOOM: The Dark Ages (id Software): A single-player first-person shooter serving as a prequel to Doom (2016). Set in a techno-medieval world, the Doom Slayer battles hellish forces using a variety of weaponry, including a throwable shield with razor blades. Releasing in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Steam.

• Mystery Game: Xbox is keeping the fourth game a secret, promising a surprise reveal during the event.
